Children’s Ministries

Nurturing Young Hearts. Building Faith for a Lifetime.

AChildren’s Ministries is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, social and intellectual development of children across our churches. We seek to create safe, loving and Christ-centred environments where every child can discover God’s love, develop a personal relationship with Jesus and grow in Biblical understanding.

Through age-appropriate programmes, clubs, Sabbath School, Vacation Bible School and strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, we encourage children to develop Christian character, discover their God-given abilities and learn the joy of serving others. Our mission is to help every child feel welcomed, valued and included in the church family, while laying a strong spiritual foundation that will guide them throughout life..

KEY AREAS OF CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Adventurer Club — Ages 4–9

The Adventurer Club provides a fun, supportive and faith-building experience for younger children. Through Bible activities, nature exploration, crafts, games, practical skills and family involvement, children are encouraged to learn about Jesus and develop values such as kindness, honesty, obedience, respect and cooperation. The programme seeks to strengthen the bond between children, parents and the church while making faith an enjoyable part of everyday life.

Pathfinder Club — Ages 10–15

The Pathfinder Club helps young people grow spiritually, mentally, physically and socially through a balanced programme of learning, adventure and service. Activities may include Bible study, camping, hiking, outdoor skills, honours, leadership development, community outreach and teamwork. Pathfinders are encouraged to develop discipline, responsibility, confidence and a spirit of service, while building a lasting relationship with Christ and one another.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School offers children an engaging opportunity to learn about God during school holidays. Through Bible stories, music, creative activities, games, crafts and group interaction, children explore Scripture and discover practical ways to live out their faith. The programme also provides an opportunity to welcome children from the wider community and introduce them to the love of Jesus in a warm and memorable setting.

Children’s Sabbath School

Children’s Sabbath School provides age-appropriate Bible learning and worship experiences that help children understand Scripture and apply its teachings to their daily lives. Through stories, songs, prayer, discussion and interactive activities, children are encouraged to know Jesus personally, develop Christian values and build meaningful friendships within the church. Our aim is to make Sabbath School a welcoming place where every child can learn, participate and grow in faith.

We believe children are precious gifts from God and an important part of the Church today. By partnering with families and providing meaningful opportunities for worship, learning, fellowship and service, we seek to guide each child towards a lifelong walk with Jesus.
