Women Ministries

Nurturing Faith. Empowering Women. Inspiring Service.

Women’s Ministries in the Lesotho Conference is dedicated to upholding, encouraging and equipping Adventist women as disciples of Jesus Christ and active participants in the mission of the Church. We seek to nurture women spiritually, support their personal growth, recognise their God-given gifts and create opportunities for meaningful leadership, fellowship and service. Through prayer, Bible study, mentorship, training, outreach and programmes addressing the needs and experiences of women, we strive to strengthen individuals, families and congregations throughout Lesotho. Our ministry embraces women at every stage of life, encouraging them to grow in Christ, support one another and share His love within their homes, churches and communities.

Key Areas of Women’s Ministries

Spiritual Nurture and Discipleship

We encourage women to deepen their relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, devotional activities, retreats and fellowship. These opportunities are designed to strengthen faith, provide spiritual encouragement and help women grow as disciples of Jesus. We seek to create welcoming spaces where women can share their experiences, support one another and be renewed in their walk with Christ.

Leadership Training and Empowerment

We support women in discovering and developing their spiritual gifts, talents and leadership abilities. Through training, workshops, mentorship and opportunities to participate in church and community initiatives, we encourage women to serve with confidence, wisdom and integrity. We also seek to inspire younger women to develop their potential and take an active role in the mission of the Church.

Fellowship, Mentorship and Support

We promote meaningful connections among women across our congregations, fostering a spirit of unity, encouragement and mutual care. Through fellowship gatherings, mentoring relationships, prayer groups and support initiatives, women are encouraged to learn from one another and find strength through shared faith and experience. We also recognise the importance of compassionate support for women facing personal, family or social challenges.

Evangelism and Community Outreach

We equip and encourage women to share the gospel through personal witness, Bible studies, small-group ministry and community engagement. By using their gifts and building relationships with people in their communities, women can help others experience the love, grace and hope of Jesus Christ. We seek to make outreach a practical expression of faith through both words and compassionate action.

We believe that when women are nurtured in faith, empowered to use their gifts and supported in their calling, the entire church family and community can be strengthened. United in Christ, we seek to uplift Him in the Church and in the world—serving with love, growing in faith and sharing the hope of the everlasting gospel.
