Background
Our History
The Seventh-day Adventist Church first established a presence in southern Africa in the late 19th century. The Lesotho Conference has since grown into a vital body serving the entire Mountain Kingdom.
Today the conference operates under the Southern Africa Union Conference, part of the Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church — a global fellowship of over 22 million members.
From humble beginnings, the Lesotho Conference has grown to 51 churches across all 10 districts of the country, ministering to over 6,752 members and reaching a national population of approximately 2.3 million people.
